Caffeine Design Studio has been operating since 1998.

Prior to that the founders,  Dominic and Corrie,  were involved as Beta Platform Testers for SAIX.   This was in the days of BBS before the INTERNET was even legal or in use in South Africa.

THIS MOST PROBABLY MAKES US THE OLDEST AND MOST EXPERIENCED WEB DESIGN COMPANY IN BLOEMFONTEIN AND ONE OF THE OLDEST IN THE COUNRY.

The company took on a more professional format in 2003. Layndon Wright joined the company as equal partner with Dominic and so started to diversify into many other associated industries.

Since opening our doors we have built up a clientele of more than 600 clients, many of which are still with us. Their locations range from the UK, through Africa all the way down to Cape Town.

These clients range from individuals who have just started out, to Multi National Companies who fly their corporate planes to Tempe Airport for us to decal.

We have NEVER strived for a big public profile with flashy cars and big offices.  We have purposefully controlled the size and growth of the company over years.

Our aim has always been to:

• Show a continuous, realistic and stable growth over the years
• Charge clients WORK related fees and not necessarily MARKET related fees.
• Keep the company controlable enough to maintain the personal relationship we have always had with our clients

We have always believed that it is better and more honest to charge clients work related costs and not make use of them to sponsor lavish 4×4’s and big offices for us.

You wont find any examples of our work on this Web Site.  The reasons for this is:

• We complete average 15 projects per week.  Keeping the WebSite up to date with the latest info is very time consuming.
• The range of our work is so wide that it is difficult to put it on a site.  We have free CD’s with our prospectus and samples of our work available.
• We have found “copies” of our work floating around.  The theft of ideas and concepts seem to be rife in the industry,  especially by the new young designers.
